With a PHD in fashion, a best-selling fashion book, “The New Fashion Rules,” and ambassadorships with Dyson Hair, Armani Beauty and Dior Makeup, Victoria is the lady behind the multi award-winning fashion, travel and beauty blog, Inthefrow.
Victoria established Inthefrow in late 2012 during the completion of her Fashion PhD and career as a Fashion Marketing Lecturer at the University of Manchester. Within its first six months, Inthefrow won the Company Magazine Best Newcomer Blog Award, and the year later, the award for Best Established Blog. In 2016 and 2017, Victoria was also nominated for a Glamour Woman of the Year Award and won Best UK Fashion Blog in the Vuelio Blog Awards for three years consecutively. In 2018, her blog was measured as one of the most influential blogging websites in the UK and won the award for the Vuelio Best UK Blog 2018. Inthefrow as a collective set of social channels, now has a follower reach of over 1.94 Million and her debut fashion book “The New Fashion Rules,” published by Harper Collins in 2018, became a fashion best-seller, reaching as high as #8 in the Amazon charts. And additionally in 2018, Victoria was a contributing Fashion columnist for Glamour Magazine online.
A huge career highlight involves signing with L’Oreal Paris as a Beauty Ambassador in 2017 and starring in the Princes Trust Campaign to champion confidence in Young People and careers. Charity contributions and giving back to those in need is something that Victoria is immensely passionate about, and so over the last five years, Victoria has worked to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation, Unicef, WWF, AgeUK, Duty to Care, the Australian bush fires, Breast Cancer Care and donated a large sum to help the work of the British Red Cross during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Victoria’s passion for her career is what she attributes to her work successes. In 2018, Victoria was an ambassador for Vita Liberata, Thomas Sabo, Feel Unique and Armani Beauty as well as continuing her three year ambassadorship work with L’Oreal Paris. In February 2018, she launched a collaborative bag collection with Strathberry which became a sell-out success overnight. Furthermore, Autumn/Winter 2017 saw her become a face of Hugo Boss Watches and Ted Baker. Yet since the blog has been developed, Victoria has worked on projects with a large number of established fashion and beauty brands including Dior, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Bvlgari, Net-a-Porter, Tiffany, Dyson Hair, Nars and Selfridges to name a select few.
Victoria’s engagement and wedding in August 2019 was shared online with millions of people, leading Victoria to grace the front cover of Conde Nast’s Brides magazine as well as luxury publication, Mine Magazine. But since buying her first home with new husband Alex in mid 2019, Victoria’s attention has moved into interiors too, launching a home Instagram account @frowhome whilst vlogging her daily life and renovations for her Youtube channel.
