Mesh Flats
Are Back

This year has been filled with shoe trends that amplify and celebrate the flat shoe. From the return of the ballerina to the emergence of the chic sneaker. But right now there's only one style everyone is clamouring for and that's the mesh flat.

The mesh flat is the shoe trend seeing us through from summer to fall and it's the next generation of our flat shoe addiction with a twist. Find them with studding, crystals, spots and even florals, making them the perfect adidtion to almost every look and almost every occasion.

The Inspo - The mesh flat has arrived this fall as the next evolution of flat shoes. This summer was filled with millenial styles reworked and the central focus was the ballet slipper. The 2025 version of the ballerina style, with the added bow could be seen just as much on the high street as they were on the runway. Fast forward to September and it seems this new iteration will be everywhere too.

The Style - The trend has emerged with 2 distinct styles; simple and classic or embellished and edgy. Gianvito Rossi, H&M, The Reformation and more have styles that we can see taking us from work days to weekends with friends with ease. The mesh detailing feels modern while the simple silhouettes easily fit in more formal situations. Khaite, Zara, Jimmy Choo and more have created styles that feel like more of a statement. The same must have silhouettes but with embellishments that stand out no matter the occasion.
