Get The Look
The Ballet Slipper

You may be wondering what decade it is with the current trends incoming for the season and we certainly wouldn't blame you. Between the chunky loafer and the ballet flat seemingly being the front runners for the footwear queens this autumn, it most definitely feels like the noughties all over again.

No matter your budget you'll be able to get the look from any of your favourite retailers and we can bet you that even if you're currently adamant that the ballet slipper isn't on your 2023 wishlist, take a second look because this might be your new go to shoe.

The Look

Jimmy Choo

We all know to keep up with Jimmy Choo when it comes to footwear trends and their love for the ballet flat is notable this fall. If you're considering a pair with a little extra detail that team well with both casual and dressy looks, then their suede option with pearl accents fit the bill. (Also available in black)

Tod's

Tod's are coming in clutch as always when it comes to the flat shoe trend and alongside their much loved loafers, the ballet flat is just as classic for the brand. With signature bubble rubber soles and a sweet bow to finish, their interpretation feels like the perfect casual homage to the 00's original. (Also available in beige)

Mango

We know we can count on Mango if we're trend hunting but doing it with a budget that's limited for the season. Their accessories always seem to deliver quality but for the right price. The brands velvet ballet flats complete with traditional bow are trendy but also feel like they're chic enough that you might want to grab two pairs.

Max Mara

When the temperature starts to drop we all know the Max Mara Teddy coats come out but what about their chic accessories too? The brands take on the ballet flat this season with its wrap ankle detail is a much more modern twist on the ballet pumps of the past.

Gianvito Rossi

No wishlists that involve footwear can be called a wishlist without the addition of a Gianvito Rossi design or two. Of course we adore their comfortable courts and their autumn boots but we've also fallen head over heels with their statement take on the ballet trend - enter snake effect Mary-Janes.

Mach & Mach

Ballet flats don't have to focus on daywear and of course if anyone will do a formal flat well, Mach & Mach have proven how with their now signature double crystal bow. The satin upper makes this twist oh so sumptuous and there's no way you'll be reaching for heels over these beauts.

Roger Vivier

Footwear doesn't come much more luxurious than Roger Vivier and their pointed toe take on the ballet trend, adorned with Swarovski crystals takes luxury to the next level. Dark black velvet, a flattering pointed toe and Swarovski crystals - the trifecta of premium styling.

Tory Burch

No one does daytime casual like Tory Burch and their classic rendition of the ballet shoe, feels like a much needed yet subtle update to the trend. Their logo plaque makes the style iconic but the elasticated heel and lightweight design are the epitome of flat shoe comfort.
