4 Autumn Winter Trends
For Now

We never want to wish the seasons away but buying ahead when it comes to fashion is most definitely engrained into our psyche. We look forward to future events, future occasions and future seasons - and all of those things can involve the joy of fashion.

The great thing about so many of the trends making waves early pre Autumn is that they're classic and easily wearable trends that slip seamlessly into most closets. Here's 4 of the trends we're celebrating and all straight to our shopping basket.

The White Shirt

White shirts are always welcome in most closets, whether you're a minimalist who utilises a capsule wardrobe of core pieces or someone who loves to adorn themselves in excess layers and trends. The white shirt can go from a full look ready to be styled with choice accessories, yet still be that singular base piece that pulls together every other item in a look. A piece that feels as chic as it does trendy this coming Autumn and one that feels like a must have no matter how you describe your style.

The knit Dress

You might be thinking these trends feel a little uninspiring at first glance but we always know no matter the trending colours, fits and materials it's always about the way we interpret them that offer the true inspiration. Fashion and trends may be bringing back the knit dress for the end of the year but it's how you wear the style that brings the trend to life. Choose textures that offer dimension, colours that see you through the season and great quality styles that celebrate silhouettes.

The Black Coat

Often when we start to see Fall outerwear hitting the shops and appearing on newsletters in our inboxes, it's the warmer colour palettes that dominate the season. Tans, creams and even yellow toned khaki greens but this time around the it's the ever classic black coat that's making a bold return to our wardrobes. Think gothic chic with quality tailoring, some statement cuts (oversized shoulders and balloon sleeves are here again this year) and lengths that feel sweeping and glamorous.

Off The Shoulder

When it comes to the cuts and shapes that we'll be seeing through casual to formal and from daytime to evening wear, the off the shoulder neckline feels like biggest impact on the season. The spring and summer trends saw the return of so many looks inspired by the 80's and 90's and the sweetheart neckline has taken a step further and fallen off the shoulder as well as in some instances, plunging all the way to the navel too. Knitwear, corsetry, shirts and jumpsuits - all of them are leaving shoulders cold this Autumn.
