Get The Look
For Less

Sometimes there's a statement piece that you fall head over heels for and this season it's the Saint Laurent Double Breasted Belted Wool Coat. It's an elusive piece that's sold out numerous times in all colourways but luckily the high street and premium brands we all love so much can offer you the look for less.

The luxurious Saint Laurent option of course has a luxurious price point to match but the look can easily be found with the same statement detailing such as oversized shoulders, a sharp classic lapel and a flattering long length at a price point for almost every budget.

The Look
ONE

The first look for less option is this wool blend trench in speckled Grey from Musier Paris. The drop shoulders, accentuated with extended lapels, ensure the oversized look of the coat and contrast with the matching belt that ties and cinches in the waist. A coat that gives you the look of luxury at a snip of the price.

TWO

If your wish for this season is an oversized, masculine inspired coat but without the tie belt then Mango might just have the perfect piece for you. This double breasted wool coat has the structure needed to be oversized yet trend led and for a fraction of the price of the original.

THREE

If the search for the perfect coat has led you to the Saint Laurent website but the price point of the dark green coat is out of the question, Monki have released a similar look. Their double breasted take also available in dark grey houndstooth, is a really affordable option for a spring layer on cooler days.

FOUR

All Saints are known for their high quality outerwear and their current offering includes this off white colour way that encompasses a relaxed body with slightly drop shoulders. The recycled double breasted coat is a brighter take on the trend but most definitely a quality led purchase.

FIVE

With the Saint Laurent price tag being so high it's not too hard to find gorgeous coats that are more affordable but if your budget still leans more luxury then Wardrobe.NYC might be the one for you. Their dark green take embraces more body structure than most with an hourglass waist that highlights sharp shoulders.

SIX

Aligne offer varied and affordable options when it comes to outerwear and if you're searching for an oversized coat but one that feels more draped and feminine then their woven belted coat is ideal. A wool mix with drop shoulders that hits the oversized mark but swaps double breasted for a wrap if that's more your scene.

SEVEN

And if you're looking for a piece that will see you through multiple seasons and will match with so much of your wardrobe then The Frankie Shops belted felt coat will do just that. Available in black, beige and grey the trench fuses traditional accents such as epaulettes and a notched lapel.
