The Best of The
Gradient Trend

I've said it a thousand times and I'll say it a thousand more, trends don't have to be taken at face value.

Although the majority of us love to follow a trend, whether we know that we do or not, just because you read an article about a certain seasonal trend it doesn't mean it can't be interpreted to suit you.

Of course we've all come across trends over the years that we know flat out won't be entering our closets and some that we make permanent fixtures in our weekly repertoire  because we adore them so much - but what about the others?

Sometimes a trend name can give the impression of a style that seems a little too bold to consider but sometimes the trends that you end up falling head over heels for, are the trends we take a second good look at.

Personally for me this season; it's the gradient trend. At first glance perhaps a little childlike and not quite as chic as I'd opt when considering new pieces for my fashion month wardrobe but at second look? So many ways to interpret the trend from gradient, to ombré, to dip dye - a trend that's actually beautifully fun and easy to style.
