Spring Newness From
5 Favourite Brands

Although no season requires a closet overhaul or a whole host of new additions to your wardrobe, it can't be denied that especially this year spring/summer seems to have excited us all in a way we perhaps wouldn't have been before.

Not only are we excited with the possibility of idyllic staycations on the horizon but with folding away our loungewear for a little while (you served me well VB x Reebok two piece) and jumping into a floaty floral number for every foreseeable occasion.

It's the season of sandals, straw bags, sunglasses, linens and all those beautiful pieces in your wardrobe you may not have had the chance to style since the summer of 2019 and spring is always the time to refresh right?

So if you're just looking for a little style inspiration or you're as excited as me about that glowing bright ball in the sky signalling what may be the summer we all deserve filled with picnics, beaches and loved ones - here are 5 of my favourite spring summer brands and what's new in from them for 2021.

Ganni

I've worn some beautiful Ganni pieces over the years and when it comes to spring summer looks they're always one of the brands I seek out across my favourite retailers. Their dresses are some of the most flattering I've ever worn and they feel like some of the easiest looks for throwing on but feeling so put together in an instant. This new strappy number from the brand has delicate floral patterning, contrast buttons through the front and a subtly darted waist that allows the lightweight fabric to flow beautifully down the hips. Ganni also offset their carbon emissions from each piece crafted and you'll find each item labelled with the offset details to allow for carbon neutrality.

Reiss

Reiss has been a favourite of mine for so many years now and especially so when their spring summer collections launch. They're often my first stop if I have any wedding invites and similarly if I know I have an upcoming city break. Their usual suiting takes on a summer twist with beautiful pastels and linens and they without fail mix their collections with some of the most beautiful dresses and jumpsuits that I find myself lusting over often. You may remember the white buttoned jumpsuit I couldn't take off two summers ago (I actually bought it for two of my friends who also fell in love with it!) well that iconic piece was from the brand and their newest midi dress version has caught my eye.

Reformation

I shared my love of reformation a little while ago on the blog as someone who only discovered them fairly recently and i can safely say my love for them has done nothing but grow! I'm signed up to their newsletter and love seeing their emails pop through to see what new spring summer pieces they're dropping. The brand is simply the current queen of floral dresses and no doubt you've seen them or are about to see them, all across your social media this season. If you love florals, dresses and on trend cuts then Reformation is the sustainable brand for you this spring - thank me later!

ASCENO

You may have spotted me wearing a gorgeous linen two piece on the blog a few days ago and that peachy number was from luxe brand ASCENO. The brand merge seamlessly and swiftly from lounging through to the most perfect beachy styles and their newest season collection has had me screen-shotting and asking Rebecca her opinion on the new releases over the last few days. Although all their staple linen pieces are must haves if you have any vacations on the horizon, they work just as beautifully for the beach as they do for dinner, their mustard orange and rose pink shades for spring feel so versatile with my closet for spring summer.

Castañer

You probably love Castañer as much as I do but if you haven't discovered their new season collection yet you're in for a true spring summer treat. Although I love all the beautiful linen pieces and flowy summer dresses out there right now, the key to a beautiful seasonal look always feels like footwear. I have some beautiful wedges from the brand that although high are incredibly comfortable and I recently added some beautiful gold threaded slides into my closet that are fast becoming my most worn spring accessory. If you're a neutral lover like me you'll love their muted classic colours but I'm currently swooning over the tomato red shade and how great they'd look with this Ganni dress.
