50 It Bags
For Spring
Do you ever look back at an outfit and think 'there's something missing here?'. I don't often as I've accepted that my style is always changing, developing and growing but just occasionally I do look back at an outfit and I think I could've cinched with a belt, added another layer or swapped up an accessory.
Case in point, this super casual laid back look I wore to head out on the weekly food shop the other week. It felt relaxed, chic and simple and so I asked Alex to snap a few pictures before we left the house. Fast forward to now and actually I so wish I'd picked up my Celine tote bag to add into the mix.
It would have added a statement logo, some warmth with the tan detailing and would have also been a nod to the trend of more natural bags we're seeing again this year. All things woven, wicker, straw, raffia - whichever you love more there's seemingly thousands to choose from if you want to add one into your own closet this season.
Here are 50 of the best I've found this weekend, across all budgets, that reinforce I should have added a neutral tote to this look after all!

The Tote Bag
If there's one style of bag I'm so looking forward to using again, it's the ever versatile tote bag. I used to curse myself when I was heading into London with a tote bag packed to the brim with everything and the kitchen sink - and now? I can't wait to do exactly that and moan about it haha There are some stunning woven tote bags that I have my eye on right now including this chic design from Loewe (ad) and this statement style from my brand of the moment Jacquemus (ad).
The Cross Body
Just as quickly as the trend went from beach and travel only to everyday use, has it transformed from roomy tote bag to the much more practical and perhaps easier to wear cross body or shoulder bag. What I love about a lot of the designer takes on the trend is that they seem to be reinventions of some of my favourite brands most loved styles. The YSL LouLou, the Jacquemus Le Chiquito and the Stella McCartney Falabella bags all have new woven takes and they're familiarly beautiful.
The High Street
As always the high street has created some amazing dupes of the designer trends, as well as some of their own classic styles. It's always true that you don't have to spend a fortune to invest in trends and it just so happens that this trend has successfully made it to the high street. When it comes to trend accessories investing in designer or luxury isn't the most viable option so amazing takes like this wicker style from Ted Baker (ad) are such chic additions to any wardrobe.
The Other Colours
Of course when you think of wicker, straw and woven bag styles you instantly picture neutral shades that would slot easily with almost any look or wardrobe. But if you're not a neutral and natural shade lover then maybe there's a more bold style to covet instead this year. You may have to look a little harder for a style with a little more colour, or bold black takes, when it comes to this trend but pieces like this wicker tote from Prada (ad) are proof that woven bags don't just have to be cool, calm and collected!
The Canvas Styles
If a true woven or wicker style feels far too beachy for your usual style but you still want to invest in the trend, then maybe the slightly more practical canvas style is more your cup of tea? There are some beautiful styles not just from your must lusted after designer brands but from some amazing premium high street sites too. The detailing is definitely a selling point for me on this cross body piece from Burberry (ad) and also this cute and chic style from Balmain (ad) that went straight onto my Farfetch wishlist!
PS - Does anyone else get mascara on their glasses no matter how long they seem to wait to put them back on?!
