Our Wedding:
The French Ceremony
Since Alex proposed last year and the wedding planning conversations became a reality, we both had our hearts set on an early evening ceremony. A ceremony involving all of our loved ones, with beautiful views and golden hour pictures just after saying our vows.
We feel so lucky that our vision came to life and we have so many talented people we need to thank for coming together and making our dreams a reality.
Our stunning venue Chateau du Bijou for having such an intimate ceremony setting, the most incredible florists All For Love London for creating a perfect floral arch to marry under, our wonderful wedding planners The Lobster Collective for all their special touches, my gorgeous Mama for her reading that brought me to tears, my brother Alex for performing our wedding ceremony in the most unforgettable way and of course the entire team at Phillipa Lepley for blowing Alex away with a wedding dress that made me feel like a princess.
A million thank you's will never be enough to you all x

The Wedding Party Looks
Alex and the Groomsmen looked so handsome in full Ted Baker looks, they wore perfectly matched tan brogues and later on as the sunset bathed us all in it's golden glow, Alex surprised his guys with matching Ray Ban sunglasses. My 7 beautiful Bridesmaids wore strapless Pronovias gowns in a dusky pink shade, the most sparkly Sophia Webster heels in champagne glitter and flowers that matched my bridal bouquet on their wrists. Just before the ceremony I also gave them all delicate Rose Quartz necklaces from Daisy Jewellery to represent friendship and unconditional love - so glad my mascara was waterproof! I walked down the lavender and gypsophila framed aisle with my amazing Dad, to one of Alex and I's favourite Bruce Springsteen songs, covered by Daniela Andrade & Gia Margaret - Dancing in the Dark. And I of course felt like the luckiest girl in the world. Not only to be marrying the love of my life after almost 10 years together but to be wearing a couture bridal gown and bespoke veil, created so lovingly for me by Phillipa Lepley herself. What a dream.
My Ceremony Look
Working with Phillipa to create my wedding dress was simply incredible. To know that I wore a dress, made just for me and designed with touches that only I got experience, is special beyond words. A true pinch me moment that I'll never forget, walking down the aisle to my Alex, wearing a custom gown. For our ceremony I wore a custom corseted, silk crepe wedding dress with an Italian duchess satin band at the neckline and (as we coined them together during our fittings) delicate ‘tagliatelle’ duchess satin straps. The corset was created from scratch meaning the gown itself fit like a glove. It hugged my figure over every possible inch and was such a pleasure to wear. I chose a relatively full skirt that skimmed the floor to make walking as simple as possible and decided on a sleek train that flowed beautifully from the panelling of the buttoned bodice. My custom veil was a must have for me as I felt I really wanted to embrace being a bride as much as possible. Phillipa sketched every detail of my single tier veil to include all of my wedding flowers (white roses, baby’s breath, erigeron, maiden’s hair fern and lavender ) and 2 bumble bees at the foot to represent Alex and I and our Northern roots. The veil was then hand embroidered using French vintage, loom woven, silk tulle. I teamed my gown with matching floral diamond jewellery from David Morris and the chicest Jimmy Choo heels adorned with Alex and I's initials - my something blue. And of course my hair was skillfully tousled and pinned into a twisted style by my hair genius Larry and my glowing full face of Armani Beauty was expertly applied by Nikki - the brow queen.
