The Interviews So Far:
Intheknow

Quite a few people over the years have asked if I've thought about creating a podcast and the answer is yes. There have been many companies that have approached me with ideas and I of course have sat down with my own team and discussed the pros and cons, but the truth is, I don't listen to too many myself.

I have my favourites like On The Line with Estée Lalonde, Serious Influence with the Blogosphere team and The Emma Guns Show with Emma Gunavardhana (all of which you should take a listen to!) but I personally love to watch interviews as they happen too. I love to see people chatting and having a coffee together, relaxing into each others company as they converse and basically learning about the 2 people I'm watching in a super laid back setting - and so came INTHEKNOW

A new YouTube series presented by me, in which I sit down and chat with inspirational people from different industries and find out about how they got to be where they are, what drives them to be successful and what advice they have to offer to others. Just incase you haven't had chance to catch any of the first 3 episodes over on my YouTube channel, here's a run down of my incredible guests so far and what we sat down to chat about.

EPISODE 1: HOLLY FULTON

Holly is the extremely talented individual behind the Holly Fulton Design Studio, who over time have expanded from crafting beautiful fashion to exquisite interiors and now beyond - consulting with other brands and partnering with huge names to launch unique collaborations. The opportunity came to interview Holly about her career as I was announced the newest ambassador for the CSVPA BA (Hons) Fashion Degree scholarship in partnership with Harper's Bazaar. Holly is currently the Head of Fashion at the school and we chatted about we both have a true passion for education, the importance Fashion East had on her career and what's next for her.

EPISODE 2: ALYSON HOGG, MBE

Alyson is the multifaceted CEO and creator of my favourite tanning brand Vita Liberata, as well as a well know name in both media and politics. As a huge fan of the brand and someone who has been and continues to be, lucky enough to work with them, getting the opportunity to interview Irish born Alyson was a delight. We chatted about her pathway to the development of the brand, the impact her Father had on her growing up and her tips on ensuring you're never complacent in any aspect of business. For some light bulb moments and to feel truly inspired, Alyson has some amazing insights to share.

EPISODE 3: MAGGIE HEWITT

Maggie is the owner and creator of Maggie Marilyn - a New Zealand based brand that is not only ethical and sustainable but uses considered materials to create their designs. To celebrate the launch of Net a Porter's Net Sustain platform and Maggie Marilyn's inclusion as one of the first brands celebrated by the site, I was offered the opportunity to sit down and chat a little with her about the journey she's been on so far. We discussed her experience as a brand owner at 24, why she feels so strongly that the brand has to be accountable during it's sustainability progress and what's next for her, now that Net a Porter is championing the brand.

As always if there's anyone you'd like to see me interview on Intheknow or specific industries/careers you'd like me to chat to more people in, let me know below! I can't wait to share my next episodes with you all!
