5 Swimwear Brands You
Need To Know

I've been loving creating fashion content on the blog recently - such as my recent ode to Zimmermann, a post dedicated my favourite trend led accessories and even styling tips for statement tees this Spring. I'm not sure if it's the little glimpses of sunshine we've been seeing or the recent press trips I've been lucky enough to be a part of, but my style attention is not only taken with the newest trends but it's starting to turn to beach and swimwear too.

There have been a couple of new swimwear brands added to my suitcase recently and I thought perhaps a look at my top 5 swimwear brands right now might inspire your fashion choices too. And remember swimwear isn't just for the beach, push the boundaries and style your favourite pieces for dinner, drinks and beyond.

SELF PORTRAIT

I couldn't start this post off without shouting from the rooftops about amazing the new Self Portrait swim collection is. These images were take on a press trip with the brand to celebrate the launch of the collection and oh my - what a collection it is! The details, the prints, the asymmetry, the colours, I love them all and I've been teaming a lot of the tops as layering pieces during the day and as stand alone outerwear during the evenings. Hugely versatile, incredible quality and simply unique.

STAY WILD SWIM

I also couldn't create this post without chatting through the amazing new line Stay Wild Swim that's been designed and created by the one and only Zanna van Dijk and Natalie Glaze. These 2 bosses have not only brought to life a beautiful swimwear line but they have done so with passion, intelligence and care. All the designs from the brand are made using regenerated ocean plastic, their tags and packaging are recycled and as they grow they are aiming to become a circularly sustainable brand - incredible!

JETS SWIMWEAR - FLORA

Another foray into sustainability comes from established Australian brand Jets Swimwear. I own quite a few pieces from the brand already and can vouch for the quality and luxury of each so it's amazing to see an established swimwear brand release their first sustainable pieces. Like Stay Wild they have created pieces using ECONYL. This benefits the environment greatly lessening the use of crude oil and CO2 emissions all while producing their first innovate ECO collection. Although the collection flew out of stock I can't wait to see their next collection.

AMAIO SWIM

Another new brand that caught my attention recently is Amaio Swim. Often my go to swimwear looks are cheeky bottoms, simple but bold colours and the occasional detailing, but Amaio's chic and sleek designs really stand out for 2019. The brand is definitely a luxury addition to your next holiday with it's higher price points but the styles are so stand out amongst the trends right now, that I'm excited to invest in something classic.

SOLID AND STRIPED

If you want a swimwear brand that offers you a multitude of styles, some stand out prints and as much or as little coverage as you'd like, then Solid and Striped has got your back. From bold leopard one pieces to sexy string bikinis and from nautical mix and match styles to retro multi coloured 2 pieces. There's so much to choose from and so much to make your next beach holiday more of a fashion show than you ever dreamed it could be.

I'd love to discover some new swimwear and beachwear brands if you've got any to recommend - let me know below, especially if they're beautifully versatile!
