It's true! On Monday the 20th August in one of our favourite places on earth, Alex made me the happiest human ever and got down on one knee. I of course, without a hint of hesitation, said yes a thousand times over - or I think I did in the haze. I don't think I've ever been more shocked and I'm quite sure my heart literally skipped more than a few beats. Who knew all those years ago when we first crossed paths, that we'd now be creating this life together? There's simply no one I'd rather be on this adventure with.

We both just wanted to take this opportunity to thank every single person that has emailed, messaged, commented and sent love in any way, shape or form, we feel completely overwhelmed with love and I'm yet to stop bursting into tears every time someone says something remotely lovely to us! I guess this is the wonderful engagement bubble that everyone talks about and we couldn't be happier!
