You may have seen my video on Wednesday showing you around our new flat. A lot of you may not. And therefore, for you readers rather than watchers out there, I wanted to summarise that video in a few photographs for some homeware inspiration. We could not be happier with our new flat, our new local area and everything surrounding it. We have really tried to put our own stamp on the interiors; it’s kind of hard not to when you have built up so much home ‘stuff’ over the last 8 years. But we also wanted to add even more personality into the place, and with only a few pieces of furniture in the flat, we had to go all out and get spendy. So, we picked up a lot of new furniture, new bedding, a smuggle seat and lots of other bits and pieces that have made out little flat into a London home.

If you’re on a budget, you can find so many lovely small pieces of furniture or homeware that can really make all the difference. TK Maxx or Homesense are my favourites as well as Ikea. But for something even more special, Oliver Bonas, Next and the White Company sell the most beautiful homeware pieces. Just choose statement pieces that will spark conversation. Whether thats a cool ornament, a bright cushion or a huge vibrant throw, it will help to enhance your room’s aesthetics.
