LFW Style: Caramel Knit and Navy Button Down

London, UK

LFW Style Day 2

Day 1 down and an exciting second day planned. With vague signs of Autumn appearing in London, I must admit I’ve already started to fill up my wardrobe with warmer clothing. This knit is probably one of my most worn new purchases, in a gorgeous caramel shade that I would never have been able to wear previously with my purple hair colour. Now with grey and white hair, so many new colour options have opened up and it seems that this caramel, oatmeal shade is taking over the retailers at the moment. So now, I am totally smitten.

Pairing it with my mini skirt from the Alexa Chung for AG jeans range, I wanted to go for a layered look and the lengths of these two pieces worked so well. Throwing on a pair of heels meant that my legs were elongated rather than shortened by the length of this skirt. I find that when I wear the skirt with flat shoes, my legs can appear shorter and larger, but heels totally counteract that issue. And with some new accessories, the caramel small Chloe Faye that I was like a kid in a candy store when I bought, and the mirrored Ray Bans, the look mixed a number of shades that I absolutely adored as an ensemble.

Make sure to catch up on all the goings on from my London Fashion Week S/S16, over on the Fashion Insider page.
