Hampstead, London
Saturday Sunshine
Wandering through Hampstead on a Saturday is one of my favourite London pastimes. It has this feeling about it, that it is somehow disconnected from the hustle and bustle of the big city, and contains a trove of beautiful bakeries, patisseries, cafes and mature women’s fashion stores. I really enjoy just wandering along the little streets here and there, finding new passageways and more beautiful cafes to eat in.
This day was special, as me and Alex were meeting my dad and his Fiance for a morning brunch. We walked from our home into Hampstead, a walk I really wish was about 30 minutes shorter, but lets not be choosy now, and made our way to Aubaine for a light breakfast. I adore Aubaine, for its Parisian decor, its rustic yet luxury feel and delicious menu, and especially in Hampstead, the waistresses are always so attentive.
I was able to wear this super girly outfit, which I’m not used to seeing myself in. Legs on show, sporting my cutesie Aquazurra Bel Air Flats in the Navy suede, whilst I wore a printed Oliver Bonas dress which I feel is very unusual for me. But I loved how light it was for this super hot morning.
