Some of the best months and there are plenty more amazing times to come. Let’s recap and look forward…
This month and the one before have been pretty special. Not only was it my birthday, but I also watched my Mum get married, prepared for two other weddings, went on several trips away and enjoyed multiple hen parties, not to mention planned the launch of my brand new blog. It’s been a year to remember so far, but I just wanted to catch you up on what exactly I have been doing recently, in a more visual form!
I TURNED 26! Yep one year older than quarter of a century, although it was probably the quietest and most subdued birthday Ive had in a while. I didn’t really feel like celebrating this year, so instead I celebrated amazing times for my friends and family instead. But here are a few of the gifts that very kind people thought to help me celebrate with:
Roses from Bloom and Wild and the cutest idea to send someone flowers through their letterbox. Genius
In fact, I was sent flowers from my amazing managers at Gleam, a bouquet from my wonderful friends Steph and Bec and a huge bouquet of chocolates from the babes at Simply Beach.
Oh and then also the most stunning Peonies from Tom Ford that I just sat and swooned over.
Oh and this bouquet, the biggest bouquet I have ever seen, from Giorgio Armani!
And a stunning little box of roses from my babe Carly Rowena and fave Leon Bustin. Currently writing this, I am surrounded by flowers and I could not be happier about it!
Then Alex went and did me very proud and bought a super personal gift for me. He asked an illustrator in Florida to draw one of our favourite pictures of me and Alex, from our own trip to Florida in January. It’s so so special and I’m just over the moon with it. I can’t wait to frame it in a big chunky white frame and keep it safe forever.
I had the most delicious cakes made for me by Denise from SaveRoom Cakes. They looked beautiful and tasted even better and it was such a wonderful treat!
I got to celebrate in Nottingham with my two bestest friends and actually spend time with the ones I miss the most. And congratulations to Steph for probably the best month of her life, with a driving license, marriage and new job none the less. Could not be prouder of my Puggy.
Okay so what else? Well, I found a new Nail Salon that I love! Lets just say I’m going to be visiting DryBy London for my shellac mani and pedis every month from now on. It is so quaint and beautiful in there with the loveliest staff. Highly highly recommended and only three minutes walk up regent Street from Topshop!!
The next thing awesome thing recently, was my trip to Paris with Viktor and Rolf. A truly stunning event, staying in the beautiful Peninsula Hotel and feeling so happy to have been invited along. It was magical.
And thats where my new shoe craving really came to life. And I bought Chanels, in Paris. Dream.
I went a little crazy and also bought another four pairs of designer shoes this month. What is happening to me?! You can view every single one of my designer shoes right here! These are the Sophia Webster butterfly flats!
I finally took my winter duvet off of the bed (I know, ridiculous) and swapped it for this gorgeous bedding from Christy, the Chantilly Duvet in White. I have been meaning to dress my bed back in whites for so long, as it certainly makes for beautiful backdrops and photo backgrounds, but also, I feel like a princess getting into crisp white bedding. And the embroidery all over the white of this set just makes it much more special.
I visited the Audrey Hepburn Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery and experienced the Afternoon with Audrey dining experience, heading over to Le Caprice for a wonderful lunch before viewing the gorgeous photography and leaving with a little Daniel Sandler Goodie Bag, all within the afternoon for £35 a person. I would highly recommend this afternoon for any Hepburn fans!
I went to Lovebox with my blogging bestests, and Collection and had such an awesome time. Even if I did accidentally wear my Chanels. They’re fine, don’t worry!
My Mama got married and it was one of the most beautiful days ever. You can watch my whole get ready with me video for that, right here and my take on re-marriage right here.
I fell in love with the Elemis Spa after looking for a new place to go when I’m in need of a pick me up. Its just off of Oxford Street and has the most wonderful ladies working there. From now on, my massages and brow and lash tint will be done right here! And I’m planning my blog launch and its almost here. In fact, three more days (hopefully) and we will be launching. I have had sleepless nights and long days planning and designing something new and exciting and its nearly here! I can finally reveal just a little teaser… Please check back really soon to see a little more!
