I wish I could live in bikinis forever, especially when London is this warm…
Nothing beats being poolside, in a new, stunning bikini with a cocktail in your hand and your best friends by your side. When the sun is out, that wonderful feeling of freedom and relaxation is second to none. It’s a time I manage to find some peace and quiet in my own mind and just chill out, even if it is just for an hour or so whilst I sleep by the pool. As someone that doesnt shut off very easily, I live for these moments. And this was a rather wonderful one, sat by the pool at the Hilton Hotel Diagonal, in Barcelona, in their luxury pool area. Luckily we were staying in the hotel, so heading to the Purobeach pool was free, but of course we treated ourselves to extra cocktails. Yet, if you are heading to Barcelona and fancy some pool time, I’d recommend the Purobeach for a full day. Get yourself a comfortable sun lounger from the beginning of the day, use the bar and restaurant as the food is delicious, and just lap up the sun. I say all day just because it costs about €40 per person, so make the most of it!
This bikini is just a total luxury. From Melissa Odabash at SimplyBeach in a white, soft, tightly woven threading with gold metallic threads running in chevrons across the triangles. The quality is beautiful and I felt so wonderful wearing it. I wore my True Religion shorts as a little cover up alongside an ASOS kaftan in a cut out and embellished patterning. My Ray Ban Clubmasters were there to cover my eyes and I also had my trusty Tory Burch sandals with me for walking around on the hot flooring. There’s something about wearing white when you have a tan (my fave here) that makes you feel so amazing doesn’t it!?
