Ladies Nights at W Barcelona

In one of the best cities in the world, with my favourite ladies, throwing a hen party in style…

When in new cities, I often try to scope out the coolest and tastiest places to eat and drink. Seeing as the W Hotel is on its own spit of land along the Barcelona coastline, I was thinking it was probably a pretty great spot. Next to the sea, with amazing views and palm trees lining its beach front. What more could I ask for from a hen party evening venue. We were there celebrating Eat Travel Love’s last few weeks of freedom before the big day, and it had to be perfect. I was organising it! Me and the ladies dressed ourselves up and headed to the W Hotel Barcelona to Salt Restaurant, a cool and modern beach front restaurant, with charm and a luxurious feel without feeling at all pretentious. The staff were right there to offer us purple themed shots and seat us in a gorgeous spot next to the view of the sea…

Of course the Champagne and orange Sangria was flowing whilst we chatted about the usual hen party subjects and laughed for hours. I quickly snuck off into the sunset to take some shots with my gorgeous friend Emma, who happens to be a wedding and commercial photographer, and a really brilliant one, if you happen to be looking. We played with bouncing the sunshine off of my hair and clothing until we got some really beautiful shots.
I was wearing this Dress / Gladiator Heels / Tote Bag (Inthefrow10 for 10% off) and Sunglasses

And then onto food. Choosing from a cool section of appetisers to share around, we nibbled on peach and goats cheese salads, ceviche, salmon skewers and pork ribs which were more than delicious. I think the images below speak for themselves.

And for main courses, the menu consists of a great selection of burgers, and only burgers, so if you’re not a fan, maybe order yourself more appetisers. The burgers were so delicious though, with a few of the girls opting for the Japanese burger, glazed in teriyaki sauce with Shitake mushrooms and served on wasabi bread. I went for the French Connection burger, with Cafe Paris Butter, Romaine and the tastiest brie. Cheese, always. A really great selection of beef burgers with a chicken and fish option too, all beautifully served. We certainly filled ourselves up before it was onto pudding!

I don’t know if you can tell from the photos, but me and the girls had such an amazing time. We were looked after so attentively and the food was delicious, and with this sort of view, who would complain. We also moved over onto the Beach Club bar, right next to the shore line, to play Mr and Mrs and quiz Steph on her future hubby. Playing his answers from a recorded video, somehow they managed to get every single question right. Definitely made for each other.
