Good friends, good times and the perfect way to remember…
I feel I may have covered the sentimentality of good times with good friends, in
this blog post. Yet it truly is one of the most important things in life. Getting out of the house and away from the computer to spend quality time and special moments with fantastic people, is what a fulfilling life is really about.
I spent the previous weekend in Brighton, with eight awesome people, that you may or may not know very well. Leon and John from the
Lean Machines, and Johns lovely girlfriend Rosie. Then there was
Lucy and Lydia, my favourite twinnies in the whole wide world, and
Lily Pebbles and her hilarious boyfriend Rich. Oh and Alex of course. After our grouping in January on an incredible trip to Orlando Disney World, we became such good friends that we were excited to arrange a new gathering, this time a little closer to home, yet still on the southern coast. We arrived in Brighton on Saturday morning, dropped out bags and headed to the Lanes and the Pier for an afternoon of catch up’s, drinks and food. After doughnuts, icecream and chicken and pork burgers were consumed at The Breakfast Club, we had a fun evening at Mash Tun in Brighton centre, dancing to old-school RnB tracks and I finally let me hair down for the first time in a long time. It is weekends like this that I love to remember. Taking time away to relax and enjoy the sunshine, drink beers on the Pier and really embrace good friendships. I’ve said it before, but I do not do it often enough.
As well as getting to wear so many new pieces of clothing that I picked up for upcoming holidays (have a little scroll down for those), I was so pleased that I finally got to wear my new rings, bracelet and charms from the new
Pandora Rose Collection. In the new blushed rose shade, created from a unique blend of metals, I feel it has updated the brands offerings ten fold, bringing a trend-led and super stylish blush-hued shade into Pandora’s collection. I have always been a fan of Pandora, ever since they bounced onto the scene some years ago and took the jewellery world by storm. Collecting charms is like collecting memories. Each charm tells a story and can remind you of a time in your life, a special occasion, a wonderful person or a significant moment you never want to forget.
And I think that is why Pandora became so popular. Everyone hopes to remember special memories. Whether a person buys a Pandora charm for their birthday, a holiday, event, achievement or special memory, or if they’re bought that charm by another, they will always keep those memories tied to them. And that idea is so beautiful. Someone can look down at this bracelet and have a special reminder of a wedding, a new baby’s birth, a birthday, a graduation, a holiday. And over the years, a person can build up the most sentimental piece of jewellery that they could possibly own.
In this new Pandora Rose shade, it has really got me excited to collect charms again. There is something so beautiful, feminine and wearable about the pink blushed metal, and the silver jewels set inside
the charms match beautifully with the fresh silver of the bracelet. I also wore two new rings from the collection to continue the rose theme, the
Bow Rose Ring and the
cubic zirconia filled rose leaf.But what else did I wear…

A little spot of pancakes and fried breakfasts for the morning after, and we were all refuelled for the ride home. Bills in Brighton was delightful as always! You should try the Watermelon, raspberry and peach juice, it was absolutely delish!
