Beautifying with Estee Lauder: Nails, Lips and Eyes
Well, just look at those colours. And the beautiful packaging. Swoon…
Estee Lauder really do know how to make stunning products. Their packaging designs are perfectly suited to their refined, makeup enthusiastic clientele, with a little more cash in their purse to spend on the latest colour and product updates. And this brand certainly knows how to keep them coming back for more. They have an abundance of classic products, that will be sat in the makeup collection’s of most of the women you know. Double-Wear, I’m looking at you. Yet, they also make seasonal collection’s that are just as wonderful and worthy of your time.
Their nail varnishes for example, are not only excellent quality, with wonderful colour payoff and a number of shade variations, but the bottles have to be my most favourite in the market. A glass square, chiselled out in the centre into a curved ball, filled with colour and topped with a golden lid. They sit proudly on my dresser and I reach for them most often. They’re just a dream to apply. Here are two new shades to add to your summer nail collection, in Empowered and Pink Dragon.
And for even more colour, I’ve recently been enjoying lining my lids in colour, rather than boring black ever single day. And theres something about purples and greens that can really enhance the shade of your eyes. Just draw on the liner to your upper or lower lashes as normal, and apply a coat of black mascara, and your eyelids will shine and pop with some bright colour. A line of colour remains sophisticated but has so much more personality. Here are the shades Emerald Volt and Night Violet.
And the lipstick, in these beautiful thin bullets with that cut off, easy to apply tip. The shades are creamy and hydrating, with great colour pay off that retains a slightly shiny, sheered out finish. Here we have Surreal Sun Coral, Empowered Red and Intriguing – a blackcurrant shade, for the lady that isn’t sure how she is feeling that day. Coral for day-wear and a bit of blackcurrant for her evening, and red for if she’s feeling sassy. I know that red is my sassy go-to.
How are you feeling about adding a touch more colour to your look this summer? I say go for it! If there’s one time in the year you’re allowed to experiment, it’s definitely this time. Try a vibrant liner, or a splash more colour on your nails, and a bright lip if you’re feeling bold. And just spice up your routine for the day. You might find you love it!
