Heading home from a wonderful Japan…
This is my final travel post documenting my travels and outfits around one of the most vibrant and exciting countries I have ever visited. After moving through Tokyo, Hakone, Hiroshima and Kyoto, we made our way to Japan’s second largest city, Osaka. To this point I had loved Tokyo, but fell in love with Kyoto even more. But there was something about Osaka that made me think I could visit the city many times over, and it fast became my favourite city I had visited. There was something somewhat westernised about the place, in terms of the shopping districts and the way in which it looked like a neon lit London, with twice as many people, if you can imagine that. Not that a place has to be Western for me to like it, but I loved having the day to wander around the Japanese stores whilst also nipping into clothing stores I knew and loved. It was familiar whilst so exciting and extremely Japanese. I loved it, and I would absolutely go back!
I wore:
Missguided Pink trousers / Miista Karlee Galactic Sandals / ASOS Shirt / ASOS Jacket/ Prada Sunglasses
We shopped, ate incredible pancake cones filled with bananas and cream, and it slowly turned to night. We headed back out into the city for Teppanyaki, this time with Yakisoba noodles and Gyoza’s and numerous glasses of wine, until they ran out. It was out last meal together as a group, so we held up our glasses and yelled “Kampai” to toast an amazing trip!
Thank you so much to Contiki for taking me on an adventure of a lifetime!
