Of course, I’m joking. Whilst we would love to think of the french as sporting the breton stripes for their sunny weekends, I’m afraid that this is just not the case. However, it’s a beautiful style of clothing, that I actually have not sported myself in as long as I can remember. But when packing for my trip to Crillon Le Brave, Provence, I saw this new stripey number hanging in my wardrobe and I felt it somewhat apt. The added bonus is that it comes from French brand, Sezane Paris, whos Parisian chic clothing has me swooning every time I stalk their website. It was one of my best website finds of last year.
The weather was beautiful, and in honesty I didn’t really need as many long sleeve tees and jumpers as I took, but the lightweight fabric of the shirt made it bearable. Plus, how pretty is the button detailing running up the spine?
I paired it with an easy pair of Joni Jeans from Topshop, as lets be honest, I don’t think you can beat Topshop for fit, in most cases. I packed my Chloe boots, as I hate to be separated from them recently, and of course I had my Fendi in toe. With the added Prada sunnies and I was having a bit of a designer party. But recently I am loving mixing high street with premium pieces, as in honesty, premium and designer fashion has always been the clothing I have dreamed of, lusted over and saved for. So I really hope that you’re enjoying more of a mix of clothing brands, and I guess, seeing a reflection of my maturity and personal growth through my clothing choices.
