From Brunch to Afternoon tea

In love with London brunch dates…

When my bestest buddy, Steph, told me she was coming down to London for a girly date, I was over the moon. We live so far apart and our weekends together are always the best – food, desserts and episodes of True Blood usually. So this day was packed full of shopping, eating and catching up, from brunch at the Newman Street Tavern to an afternoon tea at Le Chalet in Selfridges, accompanied by Alex and one of our good friends Tim. When I’m busy working from my desk, day to day, I often start to realise that its all about the getting out and doing things with friends, that makes sitting at my desk a worthwhile exercise. And I  need to do it much much more. This was such a wonderful day, and I would highly recommend Newman Street if you’re after a wonderful brunch!
