The type of dress you can wear with every shoe you own…
What do we have here?
It’s true. Long mini dresses really are one of the most wearable pieces to style. Think about it. A flat shoe or sneaker can make the dress look casual, cute and simple. A stiletto can make it sexier, cleaner and classic. A heeled boot can make it edgy and cool whilst an over knee boot can give it that something extra that makes peoples heads turn. There is not a type of shoe that I would deem inappropriate to wear with a long length mini dress. Probably because of the length, being long enough to keep you covered and dignified, but short enough to show off your legs and height.
I personally love this type of dress, and have done now for the past 5 months. In this checkerboard print and high neck, it allows your legs to be shown off without you feeling as though you’re showing too much skin. Plus with the boots, it leaves just the right amount of exposed skin to add a touch of sexiness, which I personally love.
I could have gone for a camel coat, a black jacket or a white slouchy coat for this look, but instead I went for my Rains jacket in the white reptile print.
