Fur bags, collars and coats amongst a sea of jewels and silks…
I was thrilled to have been given the chance to go along to watch a designer I have a huge admiration for and he certainly didn’t disappoint. Shapes were feminine and floaty with silks and satins, whilst further textures were injected, incorporating furs, diamante jewels and woven woolen knits. Turtle necks made another appearance, as did abstract florals, with teal, mauves and cherry red. There is a definite nod to the purples, cherries and blues this season with the more luxurious fabrics being intertwined. Jumpsuits, dresses and turtle necks, layered with large fur coats and collars and more statement jewelled split skirt dresses for the most special occasions. There was something for everyone in this collection.
Disclaimer: I do not support the use of animal fur when it has been gained by cruel methods for fur alone. I am not against the use of fur as a by-product, but prefer to stick to faux fur.
