All the Nail Colours: Spotlight on NailsInc

Be Gelous Alexa Nail Set

I should really be into painting my nails more…

What can we see?

Nailkale Superfood Base Coat (mint green)
Nailkale Victoria (Deep Red Brown)
Nailkale Montpelier Walk (Nude Beige)
Be Gelous Alexa Nail Set (6 Gel Shades)
Alexa Silk (Black)
Alexa Cashmere (Dusty Pink Nude)
Kensington Church Street Snowflake
I do find I’m rather lazy with painting my hand and toe nails. I just cannot be bothered most of the time, but then getting someone else to do them seems a little useless, unless its shellac. And then thats a whole other story relating to broken nails and thinning. I just tend to paint my nails when there’s an occasion I feel warrants it.
I have been dabbling with lots of colours from Nails Inc though, including their Gel Effect, Alexa Cashmore and Nailkale, trying to work out what all the fuss was about.
Firstly, their change of packaging is definitely a huge positive. The bottles look modern, chic and fashionable, standing out from the other polishes of a similar price range and creating an air of luxury. The Gel Effect I have heard some really great words about, and trying it out for myself as you can see above, the finish is high shine and certainly the most comparative nail polish to Shellac I have come across. One coat does the trick, and here I also coated the colour Kensington Church Street Snowflake over the top, with its assortment of strands and hexagonal white confetti, just for a little more texture. I love the finish.
If you’re after an assortment of gel effect polishes, the Be Gelous set includes 5 shades and a glitter coating, and is currently on sale, so it’s quite a great deal. The Alexa Cashmere and Alexa Silk are further shades from the Alexa collection, with finishes reminiscent of fabrics, so you can imagine what your finished results may look like. Alexa Silk is a deep charcoal black whilst Cashmere is more of a dusty rose beige, which I can imagine I’ll be wearing a lot throughout spring. The Superfood Base coat is part of the Nailkale range, a nourishing polish collection that I’ll be using all the time from now on for my brittle nails. The Nailkale set also contains the two shades shown in the second picture: Montpelier Walk in a nude beige and Victoria in a deep red brown, and seeing as it was named very well, I will certainly be dabbling in a darker nail very soon. Whilst it would take me weeks to try on each shade and tell you about how lovely each one looks, I just wanted to bring this to you more as a colour guide, and hopefully one might take your fancy! Which is your fave?

What nail colour trends are you excited about for spring?
