Finally I managed to remember to take my gorgeous Valentino glasses out for a spin. The thick black frames are so chic and look so fitting with a bright lip. I always forget how great glasses are for an outfit accessory. They can really amp up an outfit by totally changing its edge, plus you can’t argue with good sight. I met up with my good buddy Em for a bite to eat in Le Chalet in Selfridges after visiting there recently and vowing to go back in the same week. We both went for the afternoon tea, indulging on scones, clotted cream, homemade raspberry jam and substituting the tea for the most insane hot chocolate fondant. I never expected it to be so much like melted chocolate, and as a huge sweet tooth, even I couldn’t manage more than half. Alas, it was absolutely delicious.
Threw on my favourite white coat and a cropped black bomber over a lattice cropped top, paired with some new comfortable silk khaki trousers and my most worn boots of all time.
Glasses and a bold lip are definitely my winning combo. What’s yours?
