The flawless coverage foundation is finally mine..
What are we looking at?
It has been a long time that I have lusted over the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation. I know that a lot of my favourite bloggers and tubers love this foundation for its thick and flawless coverage, and after hearing countless amazing reviews, I was desperate to get my little mitts on it. In shade light/medium sand, the tone reminds me of Nars Sheer Glow in Deauville – a yellow toned tanned beige that suits my skintone perfectly. The coverage is beautiful, thick, flawless and full, and can be layered for an even more picture perfect finish. I highly recommend this to all you higher coverage foundation lovers, that perhaps are big fans of Nars Sheer Glow and Laura Mercier Silk Creme and fancy trying something a little different. I didnt feature this as a favourite in my recent foundation favourites video only for the fact that I havent used it long enough to be able to classify it as an absolute favourite over some that I have loved for a while. But I think in a few months, it will probably make its way into my top 3 favourites.
The Lights Camera Splashes mascara is the waterproof version of this line of mascaras. I’m afraid to say that it doesn’t hold a curl the same as the Clarins Truly Waterproof Mascara, which you probably know I absolutely rave about, but I don’t think anything ever will. I found this mascara to be loaded onto the brush, making the product much wetter and if you dont wipe off the excess, it can lead to you almost overloading the lashes with product, so the finish is not quite as natural. For that reason, Im not absolutely blow away and Ill be sticking to my other mascaras I feel. I do like the packaging as its so unusual and the brush head itself is an excellent size, but the actual product is not quite right for what I need unfortunately.
What are your thoughts on these two? Would you agree with me?
