If you read Inthefrow a lot, or in fact earlier today, you may have seen a lot of these products pop up in my ladies Christmas gift guide..

The reason being, that this brand has fast become a favourite of the makeup loving lady. Charlotte popped onto the scene around 6 months ago with her own branded makeup line, after spending years in the makeup industry working with the likes of Tom Ford and influencing the TF coveted makeup line. This time it was time for Charlotte to brand her own, and in such a short time she has already gathered huge success and a loyal makeup following. That is why I truly believe that the majority of women would be over the moon to receive anything from the Tilbury range as a Christmas gift. Whether it is one product, or their ‘look in a box’ gift box at a wopping £175, I’m guessing that eyes will light up all over the country when a Tilbury present is unwrapped on Christmas morning.

I put this whole look together using Tilbury products. Lets start with the base.

All about that Base

The Wonder Glow skin Illuminator I added over my serum and Charlottes Magic Cream moisturiser. This appears to contain the sunshine, ground down into speckles of gold and mixed with a priming cream. I absolutely love applying this onto my skin in the morning as it just invigorates your skin tone, brightening and adding so much glow and radiance, whilst also blurring and priming.
Over the top I use my Zoeva silk finish brush to buff in the Light Wonder foundation in shade 6. This is a lightweight, natural finish, skin like foundation which again contains radiant and illuminating properties. This isn’t matte but more illuminating and glowing and can brighten up dull skin to look fresh and hydrated.

Bronze and Blush

For my sculpting and bronzing, although you cant see it here, I used my favourite ever Charlotte product, the Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette, containing a highlighter and sculpting bronzer that I can not recommend more. This in itself would be one of the best makeup products you could buy as a gift this Christmas. I used this with the absolutely beautiful Powder and Sculpt brush, that helps to get right into the hollows of the cheeks for a wonderful contour. This brush is just such a luxury and so special and easy to use. For some colour, I used my favourite Cheek to Chic blush in first love to the apples of my cheeks.

How about the brows?

For my eyebrows, I filled and shaped using the Brow Lift eyebrow pencil in Cara D. The fine nib helps you to create natural brush strokes to resemble eyebrow hairs, so you can build up a natural brow with a fantastic shape. The spoolie on the other end is also amazing for quick applications in the morning, just to brush through and fill.

For the Eyes

For the eyes, I applied the colour-coded eyeshadow palette in Vintage Vamp, containing purples and golds for a wonderful Christmassy shimmer. I did my usual, lightest shades to the inner corner, darker shades to the outer and gold all over the middle of the eyelid to pop. I then used the Charlotte Feline Flick liquid eyeliner for my cat eye and added the Full Fat Lashes mascara over my lashes. I’m pretty fond on this already, as it does help to separate and add volume to the lashes. Charlotte created this as she didnt want a line of ten mascaras, but one that could do everything in one. Separate, lengthen, volumise, curl and most importantly add drama.

Get Ready to Pout

And finally, for the lips. I filled them entirely with the K.i.s.s.i.n.g lipstick in So Marilyn and coated them in this incredible Lip Lustre Lacquer in Red Vixen. This pops like no gloss I have seen before. Stunning.
The look came together so beautifully. the sort of look you could wear on New Years Eve or Christmas Day, after your hubbie, boyfriend or lovely mum have treated you to a few pieces from the collection. Or why not go out and treat yourself. You really will not be disappointed. This has become my favourite makeup brand very very quickly and I definitely won’t be turning back any time soon.
Which is your favourite Charlotte Tilbury product?
