When it comes to high end brands, it can be a minefield finding the best products from the bunch. Here are some more recommendations for injecting some light..
This has been a long time coming and I have been using a number of these products for a month or two now. I know Im sorry, I should be quicker with these things, but hey, Ive been a busy bee. I’m just going to tell you about the products that have made their way into my routine, which means I have to start with the Instant Concealer.
The Clarins Instant Concealer
Probably my most loved concealer, and as far as I can see, this has also fast become the favourite of some of the biggest beauty gurus out there. It’s blendable and creamy consistency and not to mention its perfect shade, make it absolutely wonderful to apply on the under eyes. I use the Real Techniques Beauty Sponge that I have dampened, apply the concealer to the tip and then bounce the sponge all over the under eye leaving it brightened, radiant and most importantly, totally flawless. Nothing covers as nicely and as lightweight. This is an absolute pro and a product I absolutely cannot live without right now. This is my biggest beauty recommendation of the past few months.
The Instant Light Perfector
The
Instant Light Brush on Perfector is another product Ive been dabbling with. It hasn’t become an everyday must have for me, yet for those that love the
YSL Touche Eclat, this does a similar job. I feel this shade in 00 is a little too pink toned for my liking, but I think that is because I tend to veer for the yellowy tones. Yet, it has a very similar tone to the Collection 2000 concealer in Fair, if you have that one to compare. This use a lovely brush end applicator, that enables you to brush the product onto your underyes to brighten. It isnt something Id use alone as a concealer, as I dont think it will cover all manner of sins in the same way as the concealer does. Yet, for those who want a boost of light, this is a rather lovely and something I dip in and out of using. You can see me applying it just above, right before I apply concealer over the top.
The Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors
Those three tubes you can see, they are three shades of the Instant light
Natural lip Perfector. A gloss type lip gel, that isnt sticky but glossy and brightening. I often use this alone over natural lips, or as a gloss over my lipstick and it always just looks so stunning. The finish is quite sheer yet adds just the right amount of colour, making it perfect for individual application or with your favourite lippy like I said. It comes in five different shades, from beiges to blush pinks and each one looks so different. Above I applied the shade 03 nude shimmer, but petal shimmer is just as beautiful.
Instant Primers and BB Creams
A few of the other products you can see in the shots in honesty, they havent worked their way into my routine. The
Instant touch primer in the little red tub is always going to be there for when I need it, but Im just not that much of a primer gal, otherwise I know from experience this one is particularly lovely. The red tube is the
BB Skin Perfecting Cream and another product I just havent gotten that into. It is lovely and lightweight and great for the girl who likes a light wash of foundation or BB cream, but this shade in fair is just a little pink toned for me I think, so it hasnt been used all that much. But certainly worth checking out if you like the lighter, thinner foundation types. And also the
Instant Eye Perfecting Base that I wrote about in a
recent post. This is a primer for the eyelids, before you apply your glitters and shimmers, or for when you just want to nude out any veins or redness around the eyes. It isn’t something I use everyday, but on those occasions when I fancy trying something new.
Clarins are certainly helping us find the light and its definitely helping
Which are your favourite Clarins products? These few and their mascara are definitely up there with my favourite ever products!
