A cult favourite, and it took me years to finally pick it up..

Urban Decay Naked Palette
Real Techniques Nics Picks Brushes

I bought my mum the Naked Palette last year for Christmas, after she had become even more excited by makeup following my move into beauty blogging. I wanted to get her something that I knew she would love and wouldn’t be a total waste of time, and after knowing how much love the blogging and general consumer population have for the Naked palettes, I went for the original in the now set of 3. Friends of mine had this palette and the shades within looked heavenly. In smokey browns, golds, and neutrals, it had my mum’s eyeshadow shades down to a tee. I had the Naked 2 palette, which isn’t quite as warm brown as the original, and I felt the greys and deeper tones in this would be a much better match.
Since that time though, I too needed to invest. There were too many shades in the Naked palette that I needed in my life, such as Buck, the bronzer toned brown for that perfect diffused eyeshadow crease shade, or Sin, the perfect champagne eye. I have since invested in Naked 3, including the pinker toned shades, and as a set, I feel that the Naked Palette is the one suited to the brunettes or the more mature ladies. Plus, who wouldn’t love that velvet coated packaging, the huge mirror and Urban Decay brush inside!? Oh, and you also get a primer potion in the set for priming the eyelids. Whilst the brush in the pack isn’t too bad as far as palette brushes go, I would recommend investing in a lovely new set of brushes if you’re desperate to upgrade, and the Nics Picks set is the one I currently cant live without. Just FYI.

Which is your favourite Urban Decay palette?
