Drugstore makeup is something I need to dabble in more, as there are more gems than I realise!
This is more of a reminder post, or an educational post, I suppose, as I just wanted to bring your attention and gaze towards MeMeMe. I bought a product from MeMeMe years ago, a highlighter that rivalled the likes of Benefit, but since then, I totally forgot to keep an eye out for more. Until recently, when I came across a big bundle of their products and realised that there was more to this brand than I had realised, so I had to do a quick write up. Plus, I think you can find so many dupes for amazing high-end products from this brand, perfect for those looking for luxury on a budget.
There are some really pigmented and beautiful shades of blushes, eyeshadows, lipsticks and goodness knows what else. The little Dew Pot of eyeshadow that you see above in Woodland Truffle, is so pigmented and beautiful, I cant wait to wear this over the centre of my lid within a bronze smokey eye look. The Correct and Perfect concealer pot holds not only a great little concealer, that reminds me of Mac Studio Finish, but has a setting powder in the base, as well as a mirror for those on the go touch ups. Excellent! This one here is in the shade Buff. Plus, the little pots of blush, Blush Me, really reminds me of the Benefit boxes, and the one I have in ‘Pink’ is quite similar to Dandelion but in a deeper baby pink shade. Really pretty. Also, did you see the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Dupe? And the Benefit High Beam dupe, Beat the Blues? This is a brand that is developing products that compare so closely to and rival luxury brands.
So next time you’re round about the MeMeMe counter, definitely give it a little more attention and pick yourself a beauty bargain.
