Buying the right Christmas gift is a task a lot of us dread when it gets to November. We have to better the gifts that we bought the year before, with even more thought and love and something that they wont forget. It can get harder and harder, when your other half, brother, mum or puppy do not offer any clues about what they’re wishing for and so the shopping starts from scratch. Thats why I was so excited this year when Selfridges promoted its Personalised gifts range. Whilst a number of the items can no longer be bought online, the majority can be found in-store, so perfect for those high-street shoppers. My favourite being the Little Miss Victoria Mug, just for the novelty value and the quality of the product. Having a jar of Nutella with Victoria written across it is also a pretty cool statement for your loved one, who perhaps happens to be a self-proclaimed chocolate addict. The santa sack would be a really original idea for the kids, or the oldies, to lay out on the night before Christmas day and will be something you could keep for a really really long time afterwards. And the Johnstons scarf if also a favourite, in the softest lambswool and my initials so neatly embroidered into one side.
But these are just a few personalised treats you can get your hands on. There are a lot more products in store that are ready to be personalised, including your Mulberry bag. But for something original, thoughtful and entirely unique, this is a fantastic way to give a loved one a present they won’t forget. And even if they don’t like it, at least they wont forget what their name is.
Do any of you own any of these personalised Selfridges gifts? Which is your fave?
