The best weekends are the weekends with the girls..
I had the pleasure of inviting some of my best buds to stay at mine a week or so ago, you may have seen what we got up to at the Christmas markets. Well, the night before we decided on a late evening meal. It was 10.30pm to be precise, on the first day of the Christmas Markets, so we were out of our minds on Christmas spirit is seems. We spent ages getting our gladrags and faces on, chatting about recent gossip, drinking glasses of prosecco and putting the world to right as only groups of gals can do. Then we headed out in an Uber (heres my code for £20 off if you download the app: Inthefrow20) to the centre of Manchester. We tried a few of the usual suspects, Jamies Italian, Rosso and Room before realising we were losing the will to eat anymore, there was no room at the Inn anywhere. Before we finally stumbled upon The Grill on New York Street and managed to get ourselves a table. We ordered even more Prosecco and nattered on about the general girly topics before chowing down on some of the Grills amazing food. I have been to the Grill on New York Street numerous times, and it has never let me down. I opted for the fried brie followed by a Fillet Steak and blue cheese sauce. It was wonderful as usual, and we all had so much fun. Sorry for the extremely yellow lighting by the way, theres not much else I can do when its so late in the evening.
Its times like this that I realise how much I miss my girls. We lived so close to each other a few years back and I absolutely took that for granted. Me and my bestest Steph who you might know from Eat Travel Love, lived together for a few years before she moved back to Nottingham to live with her hubbie-to-be. I am so happy that she is so settled, but what I would give for a few more years living close by to her. I am truly hoping that Steph and all of my ladies follow me down South to nearer to London so we can relive our University days once again. Guys really do come and go but your bestest mates will always be here to stay and these ladies I know will be around for the rest of my life.
So you might be wondering where this amazing feathery number is from. It is the new Kate Dress from the Little Black Dress LBD Collection. You’re bound to find a dress fit for one of your favourite celebrities in that collection, so go take a peek. I also teamed it with these stunning heels from Aftershock at Little Black Dress and this beautiful Art Deco necklace and of course my Tory Burch handbag. I felt like a movie star in this dress and Ill be getting so much wear out of it over this season.
What are your favourite things to do when you have your ladies over?
