This is one of my new favourite outfits. Combining a number of on trend styles, including the swing dress, knee high suede boots and the blanket cape, I wanted to create something wintery yet still cute and stylish. The knee high boots are an accessory I just never want to take off. For years I have tried to dabble in knee highs and never found them to suit me. So coming across these gems was a bonus. They’re just over the knee, maintain their structure and have a wide fit to the leg, so they don’t just look like really high black socks as some styles can. Over jeans they’re a winner, but with swing dresses that fall just above the knee, these are a dream. With the grey polo swing dress, it was a perfect match. Then I threw on the cape before I headed out, as the colour combinations were just what I was after. And for a little more glam, I wore my Rebecca Minkoff Leather Textured Bag from MyBag. This is a such a classic, in a textured leather that will save it from scratches and a beautiful gold strap to glam up any outfit. It is also just the right size for an evening out or day out shopping!
