Trying out new London hotels is something Im very much up for, especially if it comes with a night with bloggers, skincare and prosecco..
Well, what a lovely evening this was. Sat with some of my best blogger buddies, Leanne, Lily and Katie, with Niomi, Marcus and Olivia all tucking into their food opposite and surrounded by food, drink and Witch Skincare goodies. The lovely ladies who look after Witch invited a number of us along to the Mondrian Hotel in London, to try out a three course meal alongside some skincare goodies. In honesty, Witch isnt a brand I have used all that much, as I had a feeling that it was better suited to acne prone skin perhaps. Turns out, after using Witch skincare face washes and exfoliators since this time, that in fact they suit my skin wonderfully, do not dry it out and the exfoliating wash especially is a wonderful way to clean the face in an evening.
Lets talk food first. Delicious. A wonderful Mushroom veloute with a scallop to the centre. A lamb wellington with crispy vegetables and an apple tart and icecream to finish. Plus, lots of lovely prosecco and wine and plenty of catch ups. I adore these sorts of events, as living in the North, I don’t get to see some of my beaut bloggers all that often, so these events leave us to chat for hours. In fact we only went to bed at 2.30, after Leanne and Lily stayed up chatting in my room with me.
Witch really did put on such a fantastic event though and were perfect hosts. They supplied our beautiful hotel rooms with Witch skincare treats, had personalised named pyjamas sewn for us as well as allowing us to spend the evening in the brand new London hotel. It was modern and beautiful, with a huge bed, modern fixtures and just enough room for everything. Its somewhere I would absolutely stay again. Just a shame that the next day I had to travel all the way home, but Im fixing that issue very soon!
I hope you’re all well!
