The Matte Revolution lipsticks are a revelation. I have heard Charlotte refer to these as providing light from within the lips whilst still offering a mattified finish, with an almost satin, perfected sheen. The formulation is balm like, offering hydration and a non-drying coating, whilst the pigmentation is so intense that it covers the lips like a lipstick. Their shape and structure make them easy to apply to your the curves of your lips and the casing is just stunning, as are all CT products. The balm like qualities of these lipsticks also allow you to build up colour from a subtle sheer coating to a full lip colour, as you can see above. This is why the lipsticks are causing a revolution in the beauty world.
There are ten colours to choose from, and these are just six. Although I need to get my hands on ‘Very Victoria‘, the nude brown shade as soon as I can. My favourite here would be very hard to pinpoint. Lost Cherry in its bright, vibrant coral red is stunning and such a statement lip without being that postbox red. Love Liberty is the signature autumnal plum red shade and is great for the nights you want to look like a Vixen. Sexy Sienna is the most coral of the bunch and can be applied lightly for a very subtle sheen of peachy tones, whilst Bond Girl is a brown toned pink and one that you can wear for a 90’s lip style. But theyre all beautiful and great for their purpose. They are all different when applied and will suit so many different skin and hair tones, I think the brand have totally nailed it.
Which shade are you lusting over?
