As a woman, I don’t think there is anything that I love more than choosing a new little black dress for a special occasion. They’re classy, classic and ooze confidence.

I’ve been meaning to get this beautiful dress onto the blog for a few weeks now, after I wore it out in London to an incredible meal at Cut next to the Dorchester. It was an unexpected evening, with Youtubers Caspar Lee and Oli White and we ended up being wined and dined by Caspar’s friends at one of the most prestigious restaurants in the city. I had to throw together an outfit within thirty minutes, taking me from my comfortable train outfit into glamorous Londoner in a jiffy. So, I immediately reached for this dress out of my luggage as I knew it would be more than perfect for a special night in the city. It is in the beautiful sleek and lustrous fabric that I know and love from Gorgeous Couture, with a white fabric section to the waist and a racer back style to the back of the dress. The length is fantastic, covering just to below the knee, leaving you open to wear a number of your favourite shoe styles with it.
Here I went for a heeled bootie that wraps around the ankle. You may be able to spot I also have these in grey, but I couldn’t resist them due to their amazing price and just how comfortable they are! Over the top, I wanted to casual down the outfit a touch, so I added my new Nicole for Missguided black bomber jacket in this cool mesh fabric. It gives it more of an edge that just the classic little black dress style and the variations in textures seemed to fit really nicely.
