I know I’ve been throwing a couple of these 90s lips at you recently, but I think I’ve found my favourite :)
Mac has been selling out of its brown toned lip liners for the past few months, and its due to the one and only Jenner family looking smoking hot in the 90s model lip. The lips are lined slightly deeper than the centre, covered in a matte beige brown with a hint of pink, and they are often lined larger and fuller than normal. And quite frankly, most people turn into bombshells on the spot. I personally love it, and theres something it does for my confidence, I must admit. It’s subtle yet statement, perfectly polished and put together. This combo is a winning formula, and I managed to get my hands on both Soar and Velvet Teddy on the Mac site. Although they are sold out everywhere else, the Mac site seems to be the only place still stocking these shades, so get them whilst you can. But lining the lips in Soar, Kylie’s pencil of choice, and covering in Velvet Teddy for a slightly lighter, beige finish, just perfects your lip shade. Id also recommend Honeylove lipstick for this too. The finish is ‘like your lips, but 200x better’. Out of the two, Id go for Soar, as covering your whole lip in this, is just as powerful. Teddy just adds that satin matte finish. Love.
Oh, and the Lip erase, if you were wondering, I bought that as a balm to nude out the lips before application of practically every lipstick I own. I far prefer to nude out my lips with foundation before I apply lipstick, but on the go, this isnt as simple. So having this balm with me, allows me to apply a fresh lip and get it perfect every time. It isnt ridiculously moisturising, but it does create a great base to apply lipstick above. It isnt sticky or too wet and slippy, so applying lipstick over this is much easier that over your favourite carmex or balm.
