The HD Brows Brow and Eye Palette and Brow Colourfix

We all love a good strong brow and there are so many products on the market, it’s easy to get pretty lost. So here are a couple more..

HD Brows Colourfix in Foxy

If you’d like to see the products in motion, just have a watch of the video from 5:40. I apply the brow palette to my eyebrows with my trusty Bobbi Brown eye definer brush, as its just amazing for precision eyebrow filling, and then I coat the brows in the colourfix. I adored the palette. The colours are fantastic, catering for blondes, brunettes and those with black hair, also incorporating a highlighter and a brow wax. Now, the wax is the best I’ve used. Really easy to apply with a malleable texture that I haven’t really  come across before. The brush picks up the wax so effortlessly, meaning that applying the product onto the brows coats each hair and enables you to create a really precise shape. Applying the powder products after this wax application causes them to become deeper in shade, and again allows you to apply them to specific areas on the brows, due to a more ‘wet brush’ effect. So in terms of an excellent brow product, this gets a thumbs up.

However, the Colourfix I wasn’t as taken on. Whilst the shade is great if you’re after bold brows, or, if you’re looking to brush on your brow colour rather than filling them in with powders first. The actual product is a strong brown shade with great colour pay off. However, I find the brush on this is far too large for my brows, or even anyone elses, as it is almost mascara sized. As you can watch in the video, I just smudged the product all over my under eyes, meaning I then needed to clean up. Its a shame, as the actual product is great, it is the applicator that falls short. So this isnt something Ill be purchasing again unfortunately.

But there is my recommendation. The Palette all the way! Have you tried any of these?
