Pigmented, blendable, vibrant, long-lasting and autumn-ready. Those are the five ways I would describe the new Clinique Chubbies for eyes and lips. For some reason I have never owned a midnight blue with such intensity as this, and I am really excited to create a dark blue and silver smokey eye with this for a Christmas event. They blend beautifully onto the eyelids with vibrant pigments that really make them gleam, plus the ease of the packaging is super handy. No need for brushes if you’re a fan of using your ring finger to blend, and no loose powders to blow off onto your white makeup table.

The lip colours are just as beautiful. I’ve taken a fondness to the lipstick in Matte Beauty, as it is that shade of ‘my lips but better.’ Quite matte, with a slight brown tone to the pink to give a sophisticated lip finish. The moisturising lip colours are also a great way to finish off a makeup look if you’re after a subtle sheen, with Curviest Caramel having a coral toned pink and brown finish, perfect over the top of the lipstick or just alone, as you can see in the makeup photos above. Woppin’ Watermelon looks really bright and pink in the tube yet its application is far more subtle, with a sheer pink finish. Over bare lips, this adds a moisturised and hydrated look whilst adding a sheer pink tone to the lips. So beautiful and so wearable for most. Plus, these aren’t sticky or uncomfortable and can be topped up throughout the day for a sheer balm finish. I’ll be honest and say that I wasn’t a fan as such, of Clinique before trying some recent products, but I’m absolutely converted now.

Oh and also, big shout out to this cute little personalised notebook from Chroma Stationary! Gotta love a bit of branding on your notepad! They do loads of different colours and you can get any logo personalised onto the top! Cool huh!?

Anyone else loving how beautiful these shades are?
