We all love to look like bronzed goddesses, even if it’s just that hint of sunshine on our cheeks. And Bourjois’s new collection has us covered..
Bourjois Gold Bronzing Powder
Bourjois Bronzing Powder Duo
Bronzer is something I apply ever single time I apply my makeup. After I’ve applied my foundation or base, my face doesn’t feel complete without some contouring and a bit of bronze over my forehead, neck and cheeks. The Bourjois bronzers are something I have always pondered over but have never picked up before. So many people have spoken about how great the chocolate bar bronzers are, in terms of their cool packaging and design, but also their pay off and finish. I was therefore pretty excited to try their new designs. The first being a duo highlighter and bronzer and the second being a super golden bronze that could almost pass as a Caramac bar rather than dairy milk.
The Delice de Poudre Duo includes a chocolate brown bronzer with a creamy highlighter with a subtle gold shine to it. In fact really subtle, this doesnt shimmer and sparkle, but adds a light creamy highlight to the cheekbones. Much better for every day wear. The bronzer is also a fairly standard shade, not too dark at all, and mixed with highlighter will give a great bronzed shade to suit the majority.
The Gold Bronzing Powder for me is a finishing powder, for those nights when you’re after a more extreme golden glow. Just sweeping a large powder brush over the pan will transfer a shimmer to the face to enhance the look of a sunkissed glow. You could also add this over the cheekbones for some more golden shimmer, especially if you’re going for a bronze eye. It’s not something I’d use everyday, but for an evening out, it will be a product I finish off my makeup with. The pigments are great and the packaging is super cute. For an affordable set of bronzers, these get my seal of approval.
