The Pointed Toe Ankle Boots

Those days when you throw an outfit together and it becomes your new favourite combo. That just happened..

What I’m wearing:
Zara Slingback Boots
Zara Ribbed Neck Top
Bodaskins Empress Leather Jacket
River Island Boyfriend Jeans
Marc B Pewter Chain Bag

Zara is killing it at the moment. Their collections are beautiful, in classic neutral greys, blacks, beiges and whites, and with my recent love of the more neutral palettes, I made a huge online order. One of the pieces I picked up were these errrrmazing slingback boots that I have just bought in black as well. They are honestly so comfortable and uber sexy in my opinion, with the pointed toe and cut out ankle. Lets just say I walked to and from work this morning in these bad boys and they didn’t cause me any issues whatsoever, which is refreshing. The white ribbed neck top is also from Zara and I was drawn to the shape and drape of the front (although here its tucked in), and the seams down the centre of the top. It will go with so many pieces for autumn – jeans, trousers, shorts and everything else, so I figured it was too versatile to miss out on. The River Island jeans are a recent find and a style of jean I have never ventured into. But I LOVE them. They could fit slightly smaller if I’m honest, but nothing a belt cant fix. But the cut out knees, the shade of blue denim and the overall style I am just going to be rocking all autumn now.
I also need to give a shout out to this Marc B bag, isn’t it gorgeous!? And can you believe its Marc B? The new pewter straps give such a modern and trendy style to this collection and it is by far the nicest Marc B bag I have ever seen. A leather look bottom panel, pewter rope strap and black cotton upper, this bag is literally going to go with everything I own. This is only available in a few weeks so keep your eyes peeled!
And finally, I know I know, this has been a long one, but I cant finish this post without a huge mention to my newest jacket. The Classic Empress jacket from Bodaskins in a tan leather, with fabric panels to the sleeves and the most beautiful soft leather all over. Bodaskins sell the most stunning leather biker, military or classic jackets, and due to the range of colours, it is so difficult to choose a style and colour from the rest. But I went with tan leather and I adore it with this style of outfit. I definitely have my eye on a black biker jacket though too!
How do you feel towards my new set up by the way? Ive switched rooms, with more light and more room to take shots, so I hope you like them. I’m taking shots just before I leave the house recently, so this was right before I attended an AXParis event in Manchester. I just feel it gives you a real insight into my outfits of the day.
