Last week, I handed in my PhD and celebrated its departure with my nearest and dearest and a few peach bellinis. We headed out to Don Giovannis, an Italian favourite in Manchester and my flat buddy kindly took a few snaps of my outfit for me.

After sweeping on the most amazing eye shadows from Tom Ford ( a belated birthday present from Steph ) I donned a new black maxi from Motel. So sleek and flattering, I loved it. And because I felt like Rihanna in it, I wanted to wear my new Tory Burch Robinson backpack that I’d bought that day. Although it is meant as a backpack, you can take off a strap, attach the other strap to the two top loops, and voila, you have a tote. I just love this so much. I literally b-lined straight to it in Selfridges and within 10 minutes I was handing over my card.
And by the way, in case you weren’t aware, the good looking bloke above is my lovely other half. He scrubs up pretty darn well.
