It has been too long since I wrote a lifestyle post and its something I want to do a lot more of. I spend a lot of time here there and everywhere, so why not write about it?

I met up with a very good blogger friend of mine who I’m sure you recognise, the lovely
Em, and headed down to a Disaronno event at the Oast House. I go there pretty regularly, as its one of the largest outdoor spaces in the city that doesn’t attract the sort of people you don’t want to be drinking with. As its in the business district, it stays pretty classy. We’d heard there was an event on and decided that a catch up was in order, so we headed down and set our selves up with a Disaronno sour. For some reason, this was my first Disaronno experience. It tastes like alcoholic amaretti biscuits, so when mixed with lemon and syrup, you get a pretty tasty, sweet and sour cocktail. Really yummy. Even more yummy when you add strawberry syrup and orange juice!
On the way home, I also saw that the Botanist has just opened, a restaurant I have visited in Leeds which is just incredible. I definitely have to take the Boyfriend there soon, and I’ll be doing a food review Im sure. Like I said, I definitely want to write much more about lifestyle and what Im getting up to in the city, so please let me know in the comments if you’d like that a bit more?
