Real Techniques Modern Natural Makeupkit

You may have seen one of my latest videos that I based around using the new Makeupkits. Real techniques have really done it again, creating a pretty special product that will surely fly off the shelves, so I wanted to be quick to use it so I could show you how lovely it is. I’m a big fan of the smokey eye, and even more so of the plum smokey eye, so that’s what I went for. Using the darker palette, the NighOwl Palette, I used a number of the shades to create a plum smoked out effect, using the highlighter, blush and golden lipgloss to finish the look. The shadows are super easy to blend, really pigmented and just so beautiful to apply, and the additional blush and highlight products make the palette such a travel saviour. If you’re after more golden brown shades though, the second palette Modern Natural, brings you some shimmery neutrals, with the same blush and highlight and pink and golden lip-glosses. So it all depends which look you’re after. Both palettes are so wearable depending on your occasion and offer a lovely mixture of shades, so you can change up your look depending on how you feel. The palettes are only available from the website at the moment and may be limited edition, so better to buy sooner rather than later. But hopefully they will be continued and sold in UK stores soon if you’re happy to wait and keep your fingers crossed!
