So it has happened. Finally my journey has commenced and I am on my way to America for a second time.
I am currently lying awake at 6am, about to get out of bed and get myself to Heathrow Airport. But first, I thought I would start my first post with my first journey stop, the Park Inn Hotel Heathrow. I have my own suite, apparently, with a lounge, dressing room, huge bathroom and super king sized bed for little me. It is huge, but so cool! After arriving here yesterday, after about an hour taxi journey from Euston station and a £55 bill, I headed straight down to the bar for a glass of wine and a pizza. Actually so good! Then I got myself an early night which never happens, so hopefully I’m all prepped for the airport, if not a few KG over weight, oops.
Also, my luggage is from Blue Tomato! Here’s the link if you’re interested. It’s an awesome surf and skiwear store that sell the most amazing Roxy suitcases, so I went with this huge long stay case. It is massive, hence why I packed it so full. My little backpack is from Grafea and my camera case is Primark.
So I’m all set and about to get ready for the Westerner 3 trip with Trekamerica. Like last year, I will try to get these blog posts up every few days to let you know what I’m up to! I’m also vlogging everything this time, so in a few weeks, you can see what I did, week by week. I hope you enjoy them!
