I love that moment when you accidentally stumble upon a new favourite product – and lucky for me, it is now stocked in Selfridges…

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first opened these, but straight away I fell in love with the packaging. Like futuristic milk bottles with interesting push lids and minimalistic fonts. I knew that I was probably onto a winner. Starting with the shampoo, it doesn’t lather up to a soapy afro on your head like some shampoos, yet we all know that the best shampoos aren’t supposed to. Instead it lathers just enough to be able to get a good scalp scrub on the go and with the oil content, doesn’t feel as though it is drying out the hair. It contains natural active ingredients from Australia, so has left out all of the bad chemicals you can find in your local supermarket hair products. For that reason, the scent smells really luxury and clean and you can tell the quality of the product just from the scents.

At this stage you can apply the power base. Whilst the hair follicles are open and ruffled, this is the best time to add a super hydrating masque onto the hair, so it can lock in intense hydration and restorative ingredients. You apply the power masque to your hair for two minutes before rinsing off; much longer for a deep clean. Then you apply the conditioner, which again is so luxurious, smoothing and leaves your locks like silk. Totally in love with this conditioner. Again it smells gorgeous, nothing too over the top, but luxurious and clean. Sorry to keep using that word, but I feel thats the best way to describe these products: luxurious!

So finally we get onto the styling cream – style guru. I apply a 10p piece to my fingertips, rub them together, flip my damp hair over and rub this through the lengths and near as I can get to my scalp without touching it. You don’t want to make your scalp greasy, but add volume and lift to the hairs nearest to the scalp. So I really rough it through and apply any left over product onto the lengths and ends of the hair. This is an oil/serum hybrid, so really seems to add hydration and moisture back in, whilst also adding life and texture into the hair when dry. Using these products one after another for my hair routine have been my new favourite and I will undoubtedly be picking all of these up again when they run out.

If you’re looking for a new, superb hair product, then I absolutely just found it for you.
