Just an insight into a few recent events, mostly photographed on an iPhone, as remembering a camera just seems a little too much for me nowadays…
Shoe Psychology at the Trafford Centre
Queen Bee at the Phone4U Arena
Umberto Giannini Opening Event
Levis fit session and dinner
Well, this is more than ridiculously overdue, but with around 50 new posts racked up in my draft folder, sometimes I lose a post now and again. I just thought Id do a bit of a round up of the events I’ve been to in the last month – although this is now spanning over two. So over the past few months, I’ve been lucky enough to be invited to one or two events with some awesome brands.
First of all the evening of Shoe psychology with Intu Trafford Centre. This was such a brilliant event, where the organisers had set us up next to a Champagne bar, with Skinny Champagne from Thomson and Scott, the most incredible Zara cupcakes and a cute shoe quiz to win an exclusive Lego Louboutin. Of course I lost, as my general knowledge is shocking. But they really made us feel so welcome and it was brilliantly organised, finishing with the presentation on what your shoe type means about your personality.
Then there was the sold out Beyonce gig at the Phones4U arena in Manchester. I had always wanted to see Queen Bee and I was lucky enough to be able to go along to the show with some fantastic side seats. She was just amazing and put on the most incredible show, so its an event Im not going to be able to forget very soon. Me and my flat mate Rebecca headed to Pizza Hut and then onto the Gig for a pretty awesome evening, so thank you so much to Phones4U!
I was also invited to the opening of the Umberto Giannini salon in Manchester Harvey Nichols. The salon is gorgeous and if you saw my latest Vlog, you would have seen a bit more inside the place. The event was packed, with everyone enjoying cocktails and champagne and I got to speak with some of the lovely staff. I highly recommend this salon, and with the VIP section and Prosecco available if you want them, you’re bound to have a pretty awesome time.
And finally, I was invited by Levi’s into their Manchester store to try on their new Revel Jeans to find out which body type I was. The jeans come in three body shapes, depending on your waist to hip ratio, so I found out I was a demi-bold curve, so I went for the black jeans in a demi curve. They fit incredibly and with the added support sections around the lower bum and thighs, they hold you in in all the right places. Highly recommended! But after the fitting, I was also invited, with my buddy Rosy, along to a little bloggers dinner with Levis at a Manchester restaurant, Alberts Shed. I went for the Rabbit Gnocchi to start and Venison for mains, so I was feeling pretty adventurous that day. All finished off with a beautiful melt in the middle chocolate pudding and a few cocktails. The Levis team made us feel so so welcomed and they were so lovely, so thank you so much to Levis and the team!
Phew, I think thats it for now, but Ive got a few more event write ups coming soon. Hopefully I wont leave it two months next time…
