I have become a huge fan of Mavala over the last year or so. Their cute, teeny pots of colour are brilliant for taking with you for touch ups on the go and they always have such a beautiful array of shades. This collection is brand new, so much so that I cant even seem to find a link for it anywhere online, but you can get your hands on the set in Boots or John Lewis. The Metropolitan collection consists of six shades, each in a metallic, dual toned style. Metallic Blue, Copper Violet, Emerald Gold, Silver Chrome, Gold Bronze and Pink Gold, each colour name hints at the dual shades you can see throughout each tiny pot. I have recently been wearing the pink gold and had so many compliments on the finish. In one light, a beautiful gold shines through, whilst in another, you can see a light golden pink, creating an ultra shiny finish. One coat is pretty great for the colour pay off, but two coats keeps the colour extremely bright, but I would definitely set it with a clear coating on top to seal it all in. This is easily the best set I have seen in a while when it comes to nail varnishes and I will be definitely trying out each of these colours on my nails in the coming weeks. Everyone loves a bit of metallic!
